With each course led personally by Chris your day/course will cover the whole photographic process. We will spend time developing focus techniques, how to use aperture control, balancing exposures, using filters, considering the compositional process etc. You will learn/improve as part of a small group in a friendly and fun environment.

We are currently running a one-day photography course at Leading Imagery. The course is aimed at Digital SLR users and will help you get to grips and use your digital SLR to its maximum potential. We will teach you the skills, knowledge, and confidence to use your camera in a fun, friendly, and relaxed environment. We will spend a night in the hills or mountains allowing us to capture sights most will not see at sunset and sunrise. I offer these workshops in the Peak District, Snowdonia and the Lake District.

On a day course with Chris you will be taught the technical and artistic skills that matter and have a chance to put them into practice on a day out in the Peak District, perhaps visiting some of the out-of-the-way places that only truly local knowledge will take you to. You are in safe hands. Chris is an experienced University lecturer and has been leading photography workshops in the Peak Distruct since 2008. He is a trained Walking Group Leader and has been walking the hills and dales of the Peak District since 1988.
