A behind the scenes look at how to photograph woodland birds at my local nature reserve in Essex England.

Hello again friends welcome to Part 1, Join me when I recently travelled to the Cairngorms, Scotland with my family (wife, son, mum and two dogs so quite a packed car!) for 6 days; from here in Cornwall it's quite the journey, all in all nearly 800 miles! This is Part 1 of 2, in this video I cover the area in and around the National Trusts for Scotland's Mar Lodge Estate which covers over 29,000 hectares. I didn't get to see all the species I wanted to or the time to fully explore but it was still an awesome time; the sheer diversity of wildlife and scenery in my opinion is unmatched in our great country. I was lucky enough to capture and experience some of the amazing wildlife on offer. I hope to be returning in the Spring on my own for 5-6 days where I will be exploring at higher altitudes for Ptarmigan, Dotterel and much more.
