I run my photography workshops in Ireland along the stunning Wild Atlantic way coastline, where we have without doubt some of the best conditions for seascape and landscape photography workshops in the world. Why are they the best conditions in the world? Well firstly, the views are stunning and you have to go a lot further a field to get anything better. Secondly, you don't have to que to take a photograph and it's unusual to get someone popping into one of your compositions also. Now that's a huge positive for me. Lastly, the weather in Ireland changes so fast you can literally get four different seasons in one day, sometimes even in one hour. This only adds to the excitement of the occasion I find and these changing conditions can be used to develop a specific mood in your photographs. Just look at a map of Ireland and see how rugged the West Cork coastline is there is never a dull moment there, I suppose the name "The Wild Atlantic Way" gives away the fact that it can be very rugged.
