Updated: Mar 8, 2021

Cornwall is a county on the southwest tip of England covering 1376 square miles with a population of around 575,000. It’s famous for its towering cliffs, picturesque harbours and villages, wild moorlands and sprawling sandy beaches. Home to the Eden Project, Land’s End, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and The Minack open -air Theatre (to name but a few) Cornwall has a lot to offer the photographer.

As with all photography it really does depend on what your particular interest is when deciding where to go. For those heading to Cornwall we would say that the following genres of photography stand out:

  • Landscape Photography

  • Seascape Photography

  • Historic architecture

  • Wildlife Photography

This list is by no means exhaustive, but we feel that these genres come to the fore.
